2. Scoring: Points can only be scored by the serving team. Games are typically played to 11 points, and a team must win by 2 points.

3. Volleying: Players can volley the ball (hit it in the air without letting it bounce) except when they are in the non-volley zone. This rule prevents smashes close to the net.

4. Double Bounce Rule: After the serve, the ball must bounce once on each side of the net before players can volley.
